Milestones of our company
history

1890  

The company was founded as a metal foundry and machine shop in Stuttgart.

1899  

Christoph Friedrich Scheer took control of the company and started with Thermal Engineering.

1930  

The Woodworking Division was founded, producing Vaneer and Panel Saws.

1970  

The Pelletizing Systems Division was founded.

1998  

A new production facility was built at the headquarter of the company in Stuttgart.

2006  

Scheer China was founded in Shanghai. (www.scheerchina.com)

2008  

Reduction Engineering GmbH Stuttgart has been launched;
New Company name, same Qualities. By this merger of Pelletizer Makers Scheer and Reduction Engineering Inc., the biggest Company in terms of Machine Sales Worldwide has been created.
